Salon Policies

At Sparrow Salon we always respect the time you choose to spend with us. We kindly ask the same respect for our stylists and your fellow guests.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel, make changes to, or reschedule an appointment we require 48 hours advance notice. If you are unable to give 48 hours notice, a cancellation fee of up to 100% of your scheduled service will be charged. No shows will be charged in full.

If you are running late, please give us a courtesy call. If you are more than 15 minutes late we will need to reschedule your appointment and the cancellation fee will apply.

We are in the heart of downtown, please allow yourself sufficient time for traffic and parking.  We will do our best to alert you to any events happening in town that could cause traffic delays. 

Please be aware that if you are late, your stylist may be unable to provide you their best service in the limited time available.


No Plus Ones

Please arrive at your appointment alone.  We are a small boutique salon and do not have space for additional guests.  We appreciate your undivided attention to assure the best communication about your service.  There are many wonderful shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby if your companion needs some alternatives downtown.

Children

Sparrow Salon welcomes minors receiving a service and accompanied by an adult. For the safety and enjoyment of all guests we strictly prohibit unsupervised minors in the salon.  Please do not bring children to your appointment unless they are also receiving a service. 

Curly Hair Services

If you are booked for a curly service please arrive with your hair down, completely dry, and reasonably detangled with minimal product.  Please, no ponytail dents, headbands or otherwise manipulated curls.  The idea is for your stylist to see your natural curl pattern so that they may give you the best possible outcome specifically tailored to your unique crown of curls.  If you arrive with your hair unprepared you will be asked to reschedule and a cancellation fee will be charged.  Please be advised that curly cuts take an average of 90 minutes.

Product Return Policy

Unopened products may be returned to the salon within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.  Opened or partially used products will be refunded 50% of the original cost.  We keep a digital record of receipts and we can email you a copy upon request.  

Waitlist

You may add yourself to our waitlists on Vagaro by clicking “book appointment.” Select the day(s) that you wish to be in contact about and you will automatically be notified by Vagaro if that time becomes available.
